Parent Testimonials

We were told there was a very real possibility our daughter would never be able to eat by mouth. During one of the most frightening and uncertain periods of our lives, Natalie became an extraordinary source of support and encouragement.

Natalie was with us every step of the way. She understood how much was at stake for our family and worked tirelessly alongside us, helping our daughter learn to feed by mouth and ultimately making it possible for us to bring her home.

What made Natalie so special was her ability to keep our hope alive without ever making promises she couldn't keep. She treated our daughter, and us, as human beings first, which meant more than I can express. She celebrated our baby with us, delighted in her milestones, and made space for the joy of having a new daughter, even in the midst of so much uncertainty. With Natalie we felt like a normal family. That was an extraordinary gift.

I cannot recommend Natalie highly enough. She is exactly the kind of provider you want on your side: deeply knowledgeable, endlessly compassionate, and genuinely invested in the children and families she serves. I can say with complete confidence that she will put your child first and provide not only exceptional care, but the kind of warmth, humanity, and dedication that can make all the difference during the most vulnerable moments of your life.

As a medical professional myself, I have often been asked who I would want treating my own family members. That experience came full circle not long ago when my twins were born extremely premature. After working with Natalie as a colleague and benefiting from her endless expertise in the NICU, it was a no brainer to request her as the boys therapist. She spent significant time supporting the boys development and feeding needs, and providing caregiver training to both my husband and I. She made sure we were both comfortable with the feeding plan, that it was something we all agreed to, and that we were both confident doing the pacing and positioning strategies.

Natalie never just saw the patient, she saw the whole person, and the whole family. She would check on us even on non therapy days. She would bring me water and make sure I was eating enough and supporting my lactation plan, providing advice and support consistently along the way. She is a breath of fresh air in a stressful situation. You could not be in better hands with her by your side.

Natalie is an exceptional occupational therapist who brings creativity, empathy, and professionalism to everything she does. She has a natural ability to connect with children of all ages and abilities, making every session engaging, enjoyable, and meaningful.

From a parent’s perspective, Natalie is approachable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. She truly listens, makes families feel heard and understood, and creates a sense of trust and partnership throughout the therapy process. Natalie has such an encouraging way about her that puts me at ease. I will never forget the care, kindness, and affection she has given to everyone in our family during our time of need. She has taken care of us during a time we couldn’t take care of ourselves.

Our son looks forward to seeing Natalie every time. I can tell he feels safe in her presence. She is consistently showering him with love, compassion, and dedication. Her ability to combine play with purposeful, meaningful progress is truly wonderful. She has such a special gift for making therapy fun and engaging, that my son doesn’t even realize how much hard work he is doing! I know that my son will continue to progress because of the foundation she is creating for him. And I am so grateful for all the comfort and care she has brought into our lives.

I’m so grateful for the support that Natalie has provided me throughout my postpartum journeys. My third baby was born early and had GERD. Navigating nursing and reflux (and a colicky baby) was extremely overwhelming, but she met me right at home (literally, in my house!) with so much warmth, reassurance, and practical ideas that worked for our family.

Her experience as an OT and with various neonatal issues in the NICU (and as a mom who understands the challenges firsthand) helped me feel cared for and confident, and gave me a path forward for addressing the challenges our baby was experiencing.

She has a gift for making you feel supported, and I can’t recommend her enough to any family looking for compassionate and knowledgeable guidance in the area of neonatal reflux / swallowing / breastfeeding.

I called Natalie when my daughter was four days old. I was in pain, and my daughter had lost 15% of her initial weight. Natalie stepped in with non-judgmental reassurance and total confidence. She quickly assessed and corrected my baby’s latch, showed me proper positioning, and suggested a nipple shield that brought tremendous relief. She also gave us clear, practical guidance on managing acid reflux and ensuring my daughter got enough milk.

What truly sets Natalie apart is her balance of deep, evidence-based expertise from her years of teaching hundreds of babies and moms how to feed, and her genuine warmth and compassion. She was the first person to walk me through combo feeding—a concept that was revolutionary for my mental state postpartum. She met me where I was -- a scared new mom -- and didn't overwhelm me with unsustainable suggestions; instead, she gave me the exact tools and confidence I needed.

I wound up breastfeeding for a year, and I credit her entirely with making our feeding journey a success.

Where do I even begin? Our daughter loves when she gets to spend time with Natalie. Natalie always has a smile on her face. She is our daughters biggest cheerleader and manages to find creative, fun, ways to help her succeed. She really takes our gals interests and motivations into account. She remembers what her favorite toy of the month is (currently a light up singing jellyfish), and finds new creative ways to engage with her and help her achieve the goals that we created together with Natalie as a family.

You can tell she deeply cares about what she is doing. And that she is still thinking about new ways and new strategies to help your child long after your treatment session has ended. Our daughter seems to be the exception to the rule a lot of times in therapy. She doesn’t like to do the activities that many other kids do. And yet Natalie is always coming in with new unique ways to try and get it to “click”. I love when Natalie is here. Every time she leaves I walk away feeling encouraged and hopeful for the future with my child.
