Welcome!

As a Marin County native, born and raised in Mill Valley, I am passionate about serving families in the community I call home. I earned my undergraduate degree from UCLA, where I studied Sociology and Disability Studies. Following graduation from UCLA, I attended Columbia University, receiving my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy and Masters of Public Health.

My first post graduate job was in Bangladesh, where I helped establish the country’s first inclusive preschool program for children with learning differences who previously were not allowed to attend school. From there I joined my now husband in Houston where he was attending medical school, and transitioned into pediatric acute care at Texas Children’s Hospital. At Texas Children’s, I worked with infants and children with complex medical needs and specialized in pediatric cardiology rehabilitation and cardiac feeding. In 2016 my husband and I moved back home to the Bay Area, and I joined UCSF’s Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. During my time at UCSF I was able to serve as the Senior Feeding Specialist and Lead Occupational Therapist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as well as the lead OT clinician in UCSF’s pediatric neuromuscular clinic.

My dedication to neonatal care took a personal turn when I became the mother to extremely premature (micropreemie) twins born at 27 weeks gestational age. I experienced firsthand the emotional and practical challenges of the NICU journey. Our family spent many months navigating the complexities of hospitalization: medical decision-making, feeding, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and respiratory challenges, all while also trying to be present and continue to parent our three year old at home. When one of our twins was discharged with a nasogastric (NG) tube, I gained an even deeper understanding of the uncertainty, overwhelm, and steep learning curve that many families face after leaving the hospital. Those experiences continue to shape the way I support parents today—with empathy, practical guidance, and the reassurance that they do not have to navigate this journey alone.

As a clinician who is also a parent to children with complex medical needs, I strive to provide care that is not only evidence-based but also collaborative, family-centered, and realistic. I understand how much you have on your plate. You have already endured so much. My recommendations will be easy to incorporate into the routines and activities you’re already doing. My goal is to support your family—not add more stress to your day. Every family deserves expert guidance, personalized care, and a trusted partner throughout this important chapter of their child’s development. I welcome the opportunity to support your family as you navigate your new normal.

Congrats on being HOME!
